No point translating this to English, because the entire entry is about stupid English-to-Danish movie-translations.
Hvorfor skal engelske titler oversættes til latterlige, intetsigende, danske navne, og hvorfor især b-film med en vis østrigsk bodybuilder i hovedrollen? Tag fx Red Heat, på dansk oversat til En russer rydder op i Chicago og Collateral Damage oversat til Kold Hævn, hvor fanden får de det fra? Har samlet nogle af de tammeste oversættelser i en fin coverliste:

Org. titel: The Shawshank Redemption.

Org. titel: Bend it like Beckham.

Org. titel: Cannonball Run.

Org. titel: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Org. titel: Bird on a Wire.

Org. titel: Jaws.

Org. titel: Big Trouble in Little China.

Org. titel: Dracula 2000 (fnis).

Org. titel: North by Northwest.

Org. titel: Smokey and the Bandit.

Org. titel: Under Siege 2.

Org. titel: Little Big Man.

Org. titel: Beverly Hills Cop.

Org. titel: A Soldier's Story.

Org. titel: Die Hard with a Vengeance.

Org. titel: Stir of Echoes.
Suk.
Altså hvis man oversatte DIREKTE ville det da gå galt. Titlerne skal jo være fængende. Dog kan jeg give dig ret i at nogen danske oversættelser er så åndsvage at oversættere burde overhældes med benzin og sparkes ned i nærmeste Sankt Hans bål.
(wll, if you translate directly it wouldn’t work. The titles need to be catchy. Although I agree with you that some Danish translations are so ridiculous that the translaters should be poured with gasoline and kicked into the nearest fire.)
Why even continue?
I love these, always make me laugh.
Why ?? Why??
Cant believe that they called Dracula 2001, for Dracula 2000, it must be a mistake?
