I've wanted to buy a laptop for a while, but I wanted to wait and see what kind of computer facilities they have here at the school, which I know now. They've got a bunch of Windows 2000-powered computers with old, bad keyboards, and I'm not gonna spend hours writing scripts on these crappy pcs so I decided to buy a laptop. I've had my eyes on Apple's MacBook-series for a while, since I don't play video games on pc anymore, and I'll probably buy the smallest one they've, it costs 7.500,- DKK, and have the following specs:
13" monitor.
Combo drive.
2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
1 GB DDR2 RAM.
80 GB HDD.
Integrated WiFi.
Do not. Seriously, don’t. I’ve been thinking about buying one too but they aren’t all that good really. Check out the new Dell m1330 instead. Now that’s a really sweet laptop and you don’t have to mess around with Apple (just remember that if your macbook is broken then you’re pretty much fucked for the next mouth, at least one friend of mine were).
No. Nooo! NOOAAUUGHH ITS BURNING!!!!
AAaauaughghgh!11!!
But I don’t want Windows, and I love the Macbook design.
Lol seriously, listen to yourself dude :P Have you even tried working with OSX ? And I tell you what, you think you’ll care much about the design after 6 weeks if the thing breaks down all the time ?
Not in details, but I’ve seen how it works and I can still install Windows on it if I don’t like it. I’m just sick and tired of Windows, and I still have my stationary with XP on it, if I need it. Why would it break down all the time?
Well ask Apple. And it’s not like it’s the best value for money you get with the macbook. Dude I’ve been thinking about buying one quite a few times but it really all comes down to the design which is indeed awesome but imo that’s not the most important thing when looking for a laptop.
