SkillGround is an upcoming system featuring several games, in which players can compete and win real money. The beta-phase was completed in the start of September, anyone could participate for free, with 50$ on their accounts. If players paid more than 50$ on entry fees SkillGround would send them the rest of the money. I competed, didn't seriously expect to receive any money, but hey, what do I know. Today I received a check for 56.10$! Too bad I didn't play more. The final version of the system should be available before the end of 2006.
